Ok so if you follow me on Instagram you will know that after we watched “The Game Changers” on Netflix, I was really put off from eating meat and decided to try being Vegan (ish).
This all be it wasn’t the smartest thing I had done since we had literally been out that day and bought a full fridge of meat….let’s say John was less than impressed with my decision but none the less cheered me on and supported me!
As I haven’t been able to consume dairy due to an allergy for almost 10 years the change wasn’t too drastic as I was already having to have some “free from” products anyway! And if we were out and about I always knew the vegan menus was the way to go to be safe 🤷🏼♀️
I’ve already tried the Greggs vegan sausage rolls and tbh I couldn’t tell the difference so that’s why I thought I’d give it a go for Veganuary at least!
I’m already a week in to the lifestyle change, because let’s be honest it’s not a diet, and I must say I am not at all bothered by the change at all! The meals I have made so far the whole family have eaten and not noticed the change in! They are still eating meat, cheese ect but have agreed to cut down on the meat consumption on a weekly basis so I’m not doing it alone I guess…
I’m excited to try a few new foods this week and make a few new dishes I haven’t made before I’ll do another update later and let you know how I am getting on!
